ANNA, Incorporated (annainc.com), an Annapolis, Maryland power generation consulting company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract for Architect-Engineering Services for the Idaho National Laboratory's Reactor Technology Complex (INL).

INL is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy and is operated by Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA). The contract will span seven years. ANNA has subcontractor agreements with five firms to perform engineering services for this contract: Vista Engineering Technologies, LLC, Los Alamos Technical Associates, Burns & Roe Enterprises, Incorporated, Portage, Incorporated and Longenecker & Associates.

David Alley, PE, President of ANNA, Inc states: "We were encouraged to bid on this small-business opportunity because we felt BEA was serious about an award to a qualified engineering company such as ANNA and of course, we are pleased about receiving the award. For ANNA, Inc, this represents an opportunity to show BEA and INL what an innovative and nimble firm can do for them. In addition, we and our team members are pleased to be part of the work that may lead to a better understanding of the environmental advantages of a resurgence of commercial nuclear power generation. We applaud BEA for its innovative approach to the concept and bidding process and we applaud the efforts of the high-quality competition for this contract." All six companies in this team have a local presence with offices in Idaho Falls.
